Nice birdy. I wasted a good few pencils on this one as I'd coloured in the head way too dark and had to bore my way through the page to make even the slightest indented suggestion of an eye. In the field my sharp eye for detail noticed a particularly long tail, but when I got home I decided it just looked crap and rubbed it out. Amazingly, this was one of the only birds I managed to draw in 1996 that had a full tail (albeit a crap tail).
