Rustic Bunting. Cley NWT, Norfolk. 19-5-96

A nice, fat, happy, smiley Rustic Bunting. The bird wasn't really all that happy as it was scabbing around the roadside fields at Cley, weaving in and out of an assault course of cow shit, but my less than steady hand decided to suggest otherwise. Again, despite trying really hard not to, I managed to cut out this beauty's tail. I'm particularly impressed with the sketch of the rear of the bird's head, although I'm not quite certain why I considered it to be Sicillian.
